9-5 Door FIt

I have had my 9-5 Arc Wagon a little over 3 weeks (2200 miles). My back passenger side door does not shut right. I went to my dealer a week after I got it and the service guy said that they could not adjust the hinges up or down because the door was "bolted on" and that they had to adjust the striker. Well, they did this, the door shut right for a few days, but we're back to the door fit problem; in fact a corner of the door is hitting the opening (barely)causing a scuff mark (on a Black car!).
My question is this: Is the service guy telling me the truth? I find it hard to believe that any engineer (let alone a Saab engineer!) would design a door that cannot be adjusted up or down.
BTW, my front driver door is not fit properly either, the rubber "seal" rubs against the back door's.
Other than these fit problems, I am very happy with the car and occasionally go out to the garage in the evenings to check up on it (usually snoring :)).
Any help is appreciated.
