to get the yoke to fit on the engine and the new passenger side motor mount. Still needs to come up a 3/4" more, loosening up the bottom mount helped a little, but not enough. May have to put the old mount back on for now until I can get an engine bar lift to pick up from above using the two lugs on top of the motor. That is how WIS says to do this.
The problem is the oil pan is at an angle because the car is on jack stands in front. The jack and block of wood do not fit flat on the oil pan. All the pressure is therefore on a very concentrated area on the oil pan. Has anyone substantially raised the engine enough to fit a new mount this way w/o destroying the oil pan?
