I got a front suspension kit from eeuro, new control arms loaded with bushings and balljoint. The balljoint does not fit in to the steering knuckle. I was aware that the joint was different than the one installed on the car originally. But reading here it sounded like only the balljoint to control arms mounting holes would be different - but in this case with a new arm and balljoint, the holes would not need to be reefed out.

I took the balljoints off the new arm and installed the old ones. The arm holes are bigger, but the joint lined up and I installed it one the car.

Does anyone know if there is an "upgrade" balljoint for this car that has the narrow (18mm) balljoint stud? The new ones are 20mm. I can't see trying to open up the knuckle that far to fit a new style joint.
