I have all removed and ready to make the cut on the thermostat housing to replace the thermostat wo removal of the intake manifold as recommened by Anders.
I am not sure of the best place to make the cut and remove the housing wo removal of the outlet pipe.
Anders post says split the housing (along the line marked in my photo)??
It appears to me that the best would be to cut down between the thermostat and outlet pipe and them tap off the remaining from the outlet pipe.
Has anyone done this and can give me advice?
