Update (still not running)…Replaced fuel pump (with fuel pipes correctly installed this time – thanks again, Anders); fuel filter, fuel pressure regulator on fuel rail, PVC valve (which had a cracked end fitting), several vacuum lines with chafing/holes. Disconnected battery to reset computer. Pressure at Shrader valve seemed strong.
Car started, ran well, even at idle, for several minutes.
Turned off, tried to restart and was only able to restart with starting fluid, and would only run at approx. 1800 or higher RPM. Died when engaging clutch-would not accept a load, or when RPM dropped to anywhere near idle.
Other issues… could they be related? Noticeable oil leak on front of engine by the manifold; some accumulated water from passenger side A/C vents on right side floor. Could this be a computer problem?
Anything else I should be looking for, or check?
As usual, any thoughts, hints and insights will be appreciated.
Rick
