Phone screens are too small, speakers are poorly positioned, touching the phone anywhere turns off the navigation, the list goes on.
Your 2005 is a ten year old dead model. Adding an aftermarket unit may not be possible. Check installer.com to see what is parts are available that may allow a new aftermarket unit to mate to your car.
