There could be trim pieces such as at door sills, varying with year.

2001 is the first year of the Saab only badge or is that pre-9-5?

2001 is the first year of clear side marker lenses. That asthetic swap is up to you.

2000 has the cornering lights in the fogs while 2001 does not. Not sure if the wiring is the same.

Some 2001 cars lack interior floor lights up front. Not sure about 2000.

I see something like this in my future, but wonder if it's worthwhile. Sometimes I prefer my lpt to the Aero. Guess you can at least overhaul the engine while it's out. Keep spare plastic bits or swap over what's in better condition.
