Filled her up yesterday, and gauge dropped to empty, with light going on... A couple of times on the way home it would fluctuate between empty and full, ultimately going back to empty reading. SID displays dashes/blanks in the estimated miles field with empty light on, and then shows a real number when the light goes back off...
This morning on my way to work, it was fluctuating between empty and full again, and this time it also occasionally showed 3/4...
I had the fuel pump replaced 2 yrs ago. In reading prior posts, it wasn't clear if this is a problem with the pump sending unit, or a float sticking ? IN any case.. is this something a DIYer can fix, or would I need to bring it in, in which case .. how much are we talking?
Thanks in advance for any insight
Mike
