Thanks! I've actually replaced the sender unit twice already with OEM units from two different sources. In both cases, the oil pressure light came up almost immediately after the car warms up (which wasn't the case before the swap with the old unit). Does it matter how tight I torque the OP sender? Also is electrical contact part of the send (where it meets the connector) supposed to be sealed up against oil? I did find some oil seeping through and reaching the electrical connector.
