Airtex water pump, received two versions

I received two made in Spain water pumps. They are not the same. Even the box is a slightly different shape (I realize Airtex has control over that - they seem poorly packed with no extra protection for the impeller). Here are some differences I noticed:
-Bronze impeller versus non-bronze impeller with different shaft 1-2-3-4 markings and a difference number of holes in the impeller
-Different gasket and presumably o-rings, gasket seems thicker with bronze impeller pump
-A poorly made o-ring with the non-bronze pump
-Weep hole is more elongated on the non-bronze pump
-Different production/date codes (could be meaningless)
I'm not sure which if either to use as there's debate on here as to whether OEM has the bronze/black impeller. Did Saab change production at some point away from the bronze?
The bronze one has a casting defect at the end of one of the impeller blades. Do I return both and try again?
