The issue is that camber on the GM suspension used by the 9-5 is very strongly affected by ride height. The Aero ride height was lowered with no other changes to the suspension geometry, resulting in it being at the absolute limit of acceptable tire wear. Any further deviation results in what you found, especially when a tire with a blocky, direction tread is involved (like most snow tires).
Yes, it can be adjusted out with shims, and I would (and did) adjust it to the "standard suspension" setting (around -.9 degree camber) rather than the Aero setting (around -2 degree camber). You also might raise the ride height back to its design setting with spring spacers.
