I went through unplugging everything and pulling fuses to find the source on my battery drain because it seemed the lock cylinder was popping up OK.
Then one day, I was sitting in the car after removing the key, reading wiring diagrams - suddenly the chime came on - minutes after the key was out!
I ordered a new cylinder from Charles River Saab - they coded it to my spare key and it all came to about $150 or so.
Never a drain problem since.
