So on a new to me 2001 Aero with 124,000 miles, I've been having the oil light flickering at idle after driving for say 30 minutes. Dropped the oil pan and checked the pickup-it was clean. Installed new o-rings and put back together and still the problem persists. Put a guage on it from the filter location and find the oil pressure does drop to about 12 psi when the oil light is flickering. What should the oil pressure be at idle on a hot engine? Thanks for your input.
