Yes poly bushings on the front on the trailing arm makes a big difference. The OE bushings are large rubber donuts and they do get soft and mushy.
I am boring in saying spacers are better than new springs, but I feel strongly about this.
I bet your OE replacement shocks are bad again. Bilsteins are the best price/value and very good quality.
