hmm sounds like the a/c compressor is ill or system is overcharged? too much pressure in what is it high side or low side ?can do it. my spouse's Honda was overcharged made engine bog down Badly! I'd CK and see which. I bought a cheap vacuum pump and gauges on e bay and a big tank of genuine DuPont Freon R134a so I'm going to start doing A/C repairs, improvements a/c doesn't draw that much HP when operating correctly might take the belt off or loosen and spin it see if compressor is bad , if it's binding ? how about other pulleys doesn't the tensioner pulley bearing go bad too?
