UPDATE--got an A/C recharge but it did nothing, still ice cold on driver's and center vent, as well as rear. Passenger vents ( as well as floor and defrost) blow hot air always, even when ACC is off and vents open. Recirc works but does nothing. Air distribution lever works. Blend door lever replaced and motor moves it within proper range, but has no effect on the temperature. Moving the blue shaft takes some effort and it sounds and feels like its attached to something substantial, but no effect. No codes. I've tried to go up through the floor vent into the unit but have no idea what to do. Sounds like the shaft is broken internally deep in the unit. At this point, if I can manually move the blend door around through the floor vent somehow, I will be able to set it to allow cold air. Anyone else heard of this? Any tips?
