High mileage head gasket etc... what else should I do? Posted by John Kos [Email] (#2194) [Profile/Gallery] (more from John Kos) on Mon, 3 Jul 2017 22:31:55 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Hi All,
I'm replacing the head gasket, coolant bypass valve, oil sender, radiator/ thermostat/ hoses, and oil pump seal on the wife's 2005 9-5 Aero. Car has 195k. Even though I'd like to button it up, I know there's a few other things I should do while it's apart. What's the most important things to deal with now while the head is off and everything's (more or less) easy to get to? I guess the obvious is serpentine belt, tensioner pulley, and water pump? I'm all ears- thx!
