OK lest get to the heart of the matter.

As mentioned the rear springs sag.

When this happens with the 9-5 suspension the camber increases. This means that the top of the tire leans in more. This is how the suspension is designed.

More importantly for this wear you report the "TOE IN" increases. This means that the rear tires are pointing inward. A little of this is good and normal, too much means the tires are "cupping" cupping is the irregular wear that makes noise and the tire wears in patches.

The advice give in good .....spacers are the best bet. Genuninesaab.com makes them for Koni shocks. There is an eBay vendor that makes them for Saab.Sachs, Bilstein, and Koni in 25mm, 32mm, and 38mm. With complete instructions.

Yes the rose bushings can wear too. Usually in outer lower and them upper are the worse. Look at them to see how bad they are.

Shims for camber are usually not necessary and really tricky to install...and camber is not a big problem usually.

Adjustable arms only do camber and in my mind are a joke and very crude.

so get new shocks......OEM Saab last about 80,000 miles if you are lucky. Bilstein is a good choice to me.

Buy spacers to raise ride height.
Aeros with 17" wheels are 610mm
non-Aero with 17 " wheels 620mm
9-5 with 16" wheels are 605

measure from the lower end of the aluminum wheel where it meets the rubber of the tire to the lower part of the body wheel well. through the center of the wheel.

do a Search on saab 9-5 ride height and you will see tables....or look in the WIS if you have one.

When you have the new shocks and spacers in place have a full 4 wheel alignment done. Use the WIS specs.

Many many people here have done this. You will fine lots of posts here.

You can fix this problem and
