Koni paid for my FSD replacements. I purchased shocks under their warranty program and after the old ones were returned and evaluated, I received a full return on my credit card. The process is as others have described a bit clunky, but it works.
If you do this take photos of how the shocks and struts were strapped into the packaging tray so you can secure them. Do not cut the straps. The overall straps on the outer shipping container were able to be slipped off and reused. The strap on the inner box were too tight, but not needed.
FSD and Sports shocks have this warranty to original purchaser who still owns the vehicle.
You need to provide proof of purchase. An email order confirmation will do, and a copy of recent vehicle registration that shows vehicle is registered to you. You have to pay for the return shipping to Koni. If you do this, fully read the warranty request sheet front and back. You will receive RMA info with email. You can fill and scan the sheet and request that they phone you to avoid sending credit card info in a insecure fashion. The Koni rep was very helpful and pleasant to deal with.
