As you may have seen from my post last weekend I changed the water pump on my 05 linear wagon at 91,000 mile.
Pump seemed fine although was still getting a whiff of coolant that I put down to leftovers in the nooks and crannys.
All was good til yesterday when the temp gauge went marginally high (not near red - just 15 degrees higher in angle) AND the fuel gauge needle went high as well and was inaccurate.
Fuel gauge is still wrong today but temp gauge is back to horizontal normal.
Never had gauge issues on any Saab so would really appreciate some input.
Will change the coolant temp sensor just in case and maybe the Thermostat but what is going on?
Is it a relay issue after I disconnected the battery for the water pump job? (Did that to better get to the drain plug which was stuck.)
Thanks in advance folks.
