I wonder if it could be a Tech 2 programmable thing, that might have gone wrong. All I know is: I drove an '05 for 12 years and the high beams stayed on no matter if the dash switch was in the middle setting, or fully on. With the '05 wagon I just got last year, the high beams wont stay on if the dash switch is on the middle setting. Had me fooled for a while. The dash switch has to be fully on for the high beam to stay on.
