was the tranny fluid clean when it went into storage mode? only guessing but if it sat totally unused and not started in 1 year, that would give any gunk in the fluid a good opportunity to precipitate out. Was it freezing cold when you started it? maybe there was ice buildup in the tranny? Also good to pull any electrical connectors for the tranny and reattach them to reestablish a good contact. Is the battery strong? Looking at my Haynes (RIP) there is a gear selector position sensor, ECU, input and output shaft speed sensors and fluid temp sensor. And solonoids I believe are a known issue. Eeuro usually only sells parts for the transmission that are higher failure items or economically feasible to replace at a shop or DIY. You might ask them what your transmission typically needs for repair. Hope this helps. I think Highly electrified vehicles dont like to sit for long periods. Good to start them every 3 to 5 months and operate anything electrical. Doesn't a failing throttle body go into limp home mode too?
