You should be able to just replace the glass pretty easily.
Look carefully at the back of your new mirror glass. You should see lugs for the electrical connection for the heater and dimming and a circular section in the center with a spring around it. You should be able to see how to relieve the spring tension (and apply that to the old mirror glass).
Using what you learned looking at the new mirror, angle the old mirror to the extreme so that you can get a screwdriver behind the mirror on the side that the release is, and that should let you pop the old glass out. Then disconnect the wires.
Installation should be the reverse.
