I Bought my new '03 aero 10 days ago for 35k. I like it better every day I drive it.
G35's "guided missle steering" is perhaps the only feature that beats the aero, but that steering is so sensitive you could easily go off the road if you lost concentration for a fraction of a second or had to reach into your pocket for something....still, a very exciting feature.
I liked your review, and I would add that the aero has load levelers and high pressure washers for the bi xenons...very important safety features. Also, Saab aims their headlights a little lower than other manufacturers which doesn't interfere with visibility and is easier for on coming traffic.
I hated those orange gages in the G35 and had trouble reading them in sunlight. Too much plastic and cheap feeling/looling materials in G35's interior. Also Saab has onstar, which was important to me. Saab also has their version of Lojack built in. Saab has 3 memory's for driver seat and outside mirrors and a better stereo. I thought the G35's brakes were a little 'grabby' when you first pressed down on them.
To sum up, with the Saab zero percent financing or cash back you are getting a mid-level luxury car for just a little more than a near luxory or entry level luxury car...and you can see and feel it as soon as you sit down inside. Performance is roughly comparable. Good Luck
