Yup, I use the method outlined by TG, and also the "first thing in the morning" method, after the car has been sitting overnight, but before starting it up. On this car (and most cars), same results.
It's no big deal, really--the oil is just above the "full" line on the black plastic thing, almost reaching the metal part of the dipstick.
You figure when they wrote "at oil change, including filter--4.1 liters" in the manual, they'd take into account the oil left behind in the oil cooler lines, turbocharger, etc?
FWIW, when the car was delivered with its factory fill, the oil was at the "full" line, not above it. I think four 1qt bottles of M1 will do...
I might try Delvac 1* at the next oil change--found a place not too far away in NJ that has it. But then I might have to change my handle to Jason 5W-40, ha!

* HT/HS=4.1, woohoo! Also intrigued by Dean's observations of increased fuel economy on this stuff. D1's hard to find, though. M1 0W-40, on the other hand, is sold at Wal-Mart now...
