If you are close to Indianapolis, Indiana I attend drivers schools at Putnam Part a few times a year. Cost is under $300 for 2 days of driving & I have learned a LOT about driving my SPG around the track. Most tracks around the states offer schools where anyone can take their car out for the weekend & learn a LOT. Instructor wise, most of the instructors are Porsche Club or BMW club who teach at Putnam & I think the same would be true for other tracks.
These schools are great because of the diversity of cars! Everything from Honda Civics to pur race Porsche's are there. It's very enjoyable going in mid engine cars to see how much different they go through the turns.
