Doesn't suprise me a bit. One of my Saab selling secrets. Show the tall folks a 9-3SS. More leg room, the seat goes back further and more shoulder room too, it's wider inside in a 9-3SS.
The 9-5 feels roomier because the dash is lower and the lower corners of the windshield are further apart, the base of the windshield is wider, but the 9-3SS fits most big folks better.
