I currently own a 98 A4 2.8q wagon that I've had for almost 6 years and really love. In 85,000 miles the only issue has been a rear wheel bearing that was replace at 80k.

I'm looking at having to replace my wife's 97 Prelude and was automaticly going to go with a Passat V6 4motion since it's basicly the same car as my Audi.

However, when I shopped for the the A4 I also looked at Saabs was quite impressed. The quattro ended up being the deciding feature since I was coming from a Subaru.

Being a Euro-performance enthusiast the 9.5 Aero has really grabbed my attention. Since I already have one AWD car I'm not that hung up on getting another FWD, since we use the A4 when the snow gets really deep.

Has any one owned both an A4/Passat and the Aero? If so, can you shed light on reliability issues, performance and how the Aero is in the snow when equipped with snow tires.
