Tighter suspension. Very crisp control. It doesn't dive at all and the ride is actually smoother.
Much better seats (full support). My wife no longer slides all over the place, and I am much more comfortable too. This is big.
The ACC is more refined, more accurate, and less intrusive. I notice it far less and rarely adjust it. I think they finally got it right.
10% more HP than the '00. (Torque is the same)
You get to reset the odometer to zero (a major plus of buying a new car).
Auto dimming rear and side mirrors. (Buy a British left side mirror from Taliafarro and do away with the blind spot).
Ventilated seats if you want them.
New key and security system. I gather it is more secure - rolling codes.
ESP - It's there if you need it and, unlike OnStar, there is no annual fee.
Built-in garage door remotes. Compass.
If you are looking at an autobox, the 5 speed tranny is far superior to the '00 and '01 autobox.
Hang on to your old cargo net - one no longer comes with a new Aero.
New options available: Rain sensing wipers; bi-xenon head lights; parking assist.
The price is actually lower, four years on. The Aero is an awful lot of automobile for the money.
Believe it or not, after living with it for awhile I kind of like the chrome dash.
