...loosen 1 wheel at a time. Just get nuts loose about 1/4 to 1/2 turn. Then either pull the car back a few feet and then forward or turn the wheels a bit if it's the fronts. This should break them loose. It may require longer distances also. When I took my winters off a few months ago, it probably took me about 2 hours. What a pain. Ultimately, I kept driving, checking every 30 feet or so. The nuts were quite tight. Finally, after one rotation around the block, they were loose enough to come off, whereupon I landed my a** in the mud when the tire gave. Ugh. I think it was turns that really did it. Be careful and don't loosen too much and this should work.
