I have been also running the 225-60-16 Nokian WR. V rated, XL rated tires and have found that four of thaese on alloy rims will beet me anywhere I need to get to.

The snowa up north are dry and light and the roads tend to pack into hard pack that eventully turns to black ice. The tires perform well on all of these condiditon, are quiet enough and will run well on wet as well aas icy roads. The biggest problem is ground clearence of the car. When the snow is over the front air dam on my aero wagon i get snow all over my windscreen...... ;o)

Expect about 50-60 thousand Kilometers out of the rubber and don't run them in the summer switch back to the 17" P zeros they are just more fun...
