Hi all,
My car is a 2000 9-5 Aero 5spd Manual
I am having this weird engine mini cut outs when a gear is engaged, when in cruise control or not, feels like the engine wants to accelerate strong for a second, then wants to cut the throttle... like if a beginner was driving a manual car... all or nothing style... kind of strange... then I push the clutch and the engine idles just fine...
Like tonight I was doing 35Mph using the cruise, then all of a sudden it started, I pushed down the clutch and the engine ran just fine, even followed all my throttle inputs... when I released the clutch... did the same thing again... again I pushed down the clutch... reved a little... then it was gone... lasted for about 15 seconds... car ran fine after that.
No warning light on my dash ever came on.
It did this two times tonight... any idea what that could be ? To me it feels like it might be the sensor that senses if the clutch is depressed or not... but I am not sure about what it could be... must be a sensor cause the engine itself seems to work just fine when the clutch is depressed.
Any help would be welcome !
Regards,
Coolknight
