I have been using a Forge and a Hyperboost on my 2000 Aero with a 280Hp Hirsch kit for a while now.
Key for these piston valves to work well is to use a good grease on them that holds up to the temperatures. I use a "gun" grease LOL, with some Teflon in it, works great and keeps up with high and low temperatures, you can buy that kind of stuff in any gun shop.
The main advantage is avoiding valve fluter, where the Bosch valve can't decide... close or open... then you get lots of lag. Also if you shift during full boost, the valve stays shut for about 2 seconds until you shift and that also reduces lag.
Only use em in the normal way, if you mount em the other way around they act as a spring loaded blow off valve under high boost and you will loose power... if not fast enough, try a different grease.
Regards,
Coolknight
