I agree about this being a pain in the tuchus. The one thing I miss about my old '94 VW Jetta is the fact that the power windows and sunroof still operated for a few minutes after the car was shut off. Also, the ignition had an accessory position in the opposite direction of the start position. I would hope that if customers have been asking Saab for this feature for some time that they'd make the changes. And while they're at it they should make the windows and sunroof one touch close too! I don't get the logic behind having one touch opening but making drivers hold the button to close the windows! Any safety concern can be alleviated by the pinch protection feature that current BMWs, Audis and VWs have.
