The time is approaching for the replacement of my '99 9-5. With that in mind I went out and test drove the 2004 Arc and Aero last week. I came away a little disappointed. My preference leans more towards the Arc, but it felt essentially the same as my present car. Yes the suspension was a little nicer and the interior noise level was much lower, but other than that they were pretty much the same car as mine. Not sure I want the same car again for 5 or 6 more years. The reality is Saab is not keeping up with the competition. At the moment there are many more modern choices out there. It is time for GM and Saab to get the 9-5 replacement out on the market before 2007 or 2008.
Now Stepping off my soap box.
