My dealer has been the worst part of my Saab experience. It is a VW, Porsche, Audi, Saab, Suzuki dealer who has a Chrysler/Mitsu dea;er next door and another dealership down the street. Service has been deplorable. The owner just doesn't care. I don't blame the attendants because they are extremely busy, overworked, undertrained, uninformed and I'm sure they are underpaid. My 9-5 sedan (I own a wagon, a 9-3 and a 9000 as well) is in the shop -- again. It had to be towed (for the second time) on Thursday. Car wasn't even looked at before the weekend. In the last year it has been in the shop at least 40 days, maybe 45. The dealer takes way too long to get parts and way too long to do the work and in the case of my ECU/throttle body problem, the car is in for the fourth time. I have lost total confidence in the dealer's ability to get it solved. About a month ago, I called for Saab assistance and got very little help. I wanted to see the Saab rep and Saab Customer Service couldn't even tell me when the rep would be in town. Saab Customer Service tells me I must arrange a meeting with my rep through my dealer. Yeah right. Saab needs to get rid of this dealer and give the dealership to someone who understands service. But you know, I can't even find a good way of getting Saab management get the message. If you are a dealer and can get this message to Saab corporate, have them call me, David Mills at 901-818-1999. Thanks.
