You should wait 4-6 months on base/clear coats (the metallics)and on single stage paints (the solid colors), but, look at the manufactured date on the car and start counting. Since the sealant is a wax, you can remove it by washing it with dishwashing detergent, but, I wouldn't bother. Wax wears away with sun exposure and washing. Just don't be in a hurry to get another coat on until you pass 4 months or so.
