headlight wiper arm too high.... how to adjust?

There is a similar post but this one is a little different. It's not the wiper/blade alignment that's off.... it's the entire mechanism itself. Compared to the other wiper, this one sits about an inch too high on the headlight when it's "at rest". I disconnected the wipers as the motors usually burn out anyway (one was already dead) but I kept them because I like the look. Does this description of my dilemma make sense?
Please let me know if anyone has any ideas.... thanks in advance.

P.S. Finally (!!) put on my Super Aeros with new tires (Kumho 205-40-16)... it look really sharp with the SPG bodykit but will look even better when the Airflow kit gets put on. Hope to post pics soon.
