Stutter when on full boost (halfway into red)

I have modified my APC, adjusted the fuel cut-off, have added an RRFPR and have adjusted the retard actuator. Now the weather is getting colder I can sustain ½ - ¾ red boost. However, when giving it maximum boost I’ve been getting a lot of stuttering as if there is a misfire. This only happens when at ¾ red. Once the needle moves back a little to, say ½ red boost, the stuttering stops and warp-factor resumes. Any suggestions for the cause?
Thanks,
Tomee
