i'm actually going through the process now. i wanted more power but really enjoy my chassis, so didn't want to get a new one. as long as you go with a 2.0l turbo engine, it's same size. engine is pretty much the same with the exception of the pistons. big difference is in associated turbo engine components, ic and piping, oil cooler, vacuum hoses, wiring, etc. best to get a turbo parts car so you have everything already installed and can just pull out of one and into the other. i don't have room for the parts car so i have to buy seperately. btw, you can't just bolt on a turbo to your n/a engine, the compression would be too high. good chance for serious engine damage. good luck.
