Banjo-nut hell on the fuel rail- help!

How tight is too tight? I've cranked the rear banjo-nut on the fuel rail to its breaking point- still getting some very minor wetness- BUT ITS FUEL!
Maybe it's the angle of attack- or the old washers I used. Any one have a simple fix: thread tape perhaps? The front sealed fine!
The good news is- and thanks to SPG9 and Cliff Quan, my red fuel rail looks bitch'n. Still looking for a red oil cap.
