Yeah ain't that great... 2500 rpm way before the oil even gets to the galleries let alone the bearings. It's the AIC and the sad Bosch ECU design. Could try resetting the ECU, disconnect the battery for a few minuites.. works perfectly on Japanese ECU's, but they are far more sophisticated designs, Worth a try though.
As a last resort could try a Resistive load in place of the AIC unit, dunno if anyone's actually tried it.
