I don't think compressed air in a can will help much. That's good for blowing dust out. It won't clean up grease or gunk. The air flowing through the APC solenoid has oil vapors, a whiff or two of combustion process chemicals, and other 'stuff'. This collects in the solenoid in a greasy grundge. Solvent-based cleaners will cut through it. Most any autoparts store, heck, I've seen it in supermarkets, carry stuff like Gumout. Look for an automotive spray cleaner for carbs or fuel injection throttle bodies. Buy the spray, not the stuff you put in the gas tank.
Good luck!
