Good topic to bring up Nathan.
When cold - notchy into first. Sometimes I have to hunt for it or let the clutch out a bit when it feels blocked. First and second always give a little resistance - not any noise, just kind of a gentle tightness. I always have to search for 5th though. Its never clean. No problems with reverse, except that I sometimes forget to stop completely or hit a forward gear.
I bought the car with a 5k mile old rebuilt 5sp transplanted in a former auto. Its now 45K old and feels the same as when I first got it.
I attribute much to a tired master cylinder because the pedal goes in at least an inch before any resistance. No elogation to the pedal pivot pin. I think Texron may be on to something.
