So thanks to Kevin O, I went on a 500 mile journey yesterday to look at a 89 SPG. They were asking $1200 & Kevin drove the thing & gave me a discription of it before I drove up to his part of Ohio. After arriving & looking at how bad the rust is (VERY bad) as well as telling them the turbo is pretty much fried, they stated $800 is what we can let it go for, down from the original price of $1200. The good part is that it has a OEM whaletail & the leather seats are in VG condition, the bad part it RUST!

R fender is pretty much gone above wheel! I don't know how the winshield washer container is still in the car because there is NO sheet metal below it!

The drivers side rear quarter (thats LEFT side Steve Bunton :o) also has a good bit of rust & a spot the size of a quarter oin the left front fender.

So now I have 3 SPG's all of which are the SAME color (really want a red one) & every one needs some pretty serious body work.

DAM, need to start playing the lottery!
