OK,

This has been going on for a while. I started getting low boost for about a week, then low and behold, I had full boost again for nearly a month. After losing it again while on I-95, i tried what I thought was going to be a stupid test and turned on the cruise, rode with it on for about 10 minutes and turned it off, pushed the pedal a little and there we go. I thought, whatever, at least it's working now. NO, WRONG, 15 minutes later I lost it again. This would work periodically, and from time to time full boost would come on out of the blue and shoot me past people at ridiculous speeds. The car's engine is exaclty like the 1993 and prior. I have always run 93 octane in it, new fuel filter really helped about 10K ago. Plugs are relatively new, I didn't look at them recently, but the ones I took out when I did the replacement looked perfect. Cap and rotor were replaced at the same time as the plugs.

Thing about the fuel system is that I don't think it has any faults since the boost was enormous when I attached the solenoid directly to 12V powersource.

And so, I'm stuck with my problem. Only thing is, it has a redbox, and I don't want to lose it, hence my concern over that being the problem. Do you know if the stage II from spg9 are identical to the 185 HP redbox from SAAB?

Once again, thank you for your help.
