You drive a 9000 and complain about a creaking dash in your 900?? I have owned several classic 900s and two 9000s, and the 9000s by far have had more "creaking" noises from the dash than my 900s. I thought my '91 9000 was bad, and when I bought my '96 9000 I thought surely SAAB must have worked out the "bugs" in the creaking dash, but unfortunately it's not true - it "creaks" just as much as the '91.
Some SAAB owner's web site (Quasi's? Townsend?) gives instructions for quieting the creaking 9000 dash - maybe some of the techniques suggested there would work on your 900.
