Hi, Boris
Hey, I've got an idea for you.
Your SPG already HAS a fuel cutoff switch! It's the overboost pressure fuel cutoff, and it's under the dash somewhere around the brake pedal area. When I did mods to my Beastie, I had to bypass mine because at about 1/2 redzone boost, I'd get the face-in-the-windshield fuel cutoff. This fuel cutoff switch is normally closed and opens only when boost pressure reaches a certain level. When the switch opens, it cuts off the fuel.
Anyway, what I'm thinking is that if you put a manual switch in series with this switch, you'd have a simple means to shut off your fuel pump... you'd be manually breaking this same circuit. No other mods necessary except some wire and a switch. If you can find where the wires to your boost overpressure fuel cutoff switch run, you can splice into them anywhere -- perhaps not even having to get down into the driver's footwell area. You might try a temporary set up at first, just disconnecting the wire to the overboost fuel cutoff switch to see if that does what you want it to do.
I haven't tried this, but it seems to me it should work. Let us know if you do it and what results you get.
