Grinding 2nd ?

For some reason in my c900s, under hard acceleration, shifting from 1st to 2nd grinds, but it does go in. No other gear does. I thought maybe it could be my shifting habbits, but my buddy drove it and the same thing happend to him. Is there something wrong or just the c900 gearbox isn't meant to shift fast? Its only when in the high RPM ranges. Thanks alot
