Gees... Is this the politically correct board or what? Repairing a rust hole with fiberglass is how shall I say? A real short cut over a quality repair. With that said, cut the panel out and sandblast the rust that wasn't removed and mig weld a patch in place then seam seal and undercoat. Most of my customers expect a job to resemble a factory repair with a garrantee. Fiberglass doesn't stick to rusty sheet metal. Now as far as fiberglass repair of a rot hole in a frame. I know I must be another idiot but I wouldn't attempt that on a dare.
